I believe a healthy environment is part of a safe, livable community and I will support local planning that prepares Ridgewood for the challenges ahead.
Planning for a healthier, more resilient Ridgewood.
I will support practical, coordinated action on environmental issues that directly affect residents from water quality and flooding to the ways people safely move through town.
Flooding
I will partner with the Village Engineers to help influence and expedite our preparedness with the State to reduce flooding. Increasing the amount of impervious surface areas, planting not cutting trees and implementing effective storm management.
Equitable transportation
I will support safe, practical transportation options and new policies that prevent traffic injuries by redesigning key corridors and intersections like Ridgewood and Franklin avenues. We need to provide protected paths for walking, biking and riding.
