I believe a healthy environment is part of a safe, livable community and I will support local planning that prepares Ridgewood for the challenges ahead.
Planning for a healthier, more resilient Ridgewood.
I will support practical, coordinated action on environmental issues that directly affect residents from water quality and flooding to the ways people safely move through town.
Flooding
I will partner with the Village Engineers to help influence and expedite our preparedness with the State to reduce flooding. Increasing the amount of permeable surface areas, planting not cutting trees and implementing effective storm management.
Equitable transportation
I believe in expanding safe, accessible transportation choices and adopting policies that help prevent traffic injuries. Collaborating with experts to redesign major corridors will allow us to build protected paths for people walking, biking, and riding.
